Course Objective The diploma course is organized by Institute of Corporate Operation and Management. This diploma is also recognized by the The Society of Business Practitioners (SBP),Columbia Southern Universityand University of Hull. The main aim of the course is to provide participants with a thorough knowledge relevant to business-related areas and to develop their skills of analysing and solving business problems. The course will appeal to those who are keen to pursue a career in business and those who wish to improve their opportunities of career advancement. Exemption for University of Hull programmes depends on individual basis.

Diploma in I.T. & e-Commerce

Admission Requirements-

Diploma in Business Administration

*·2 GCE 'A' level and 3 GCE'O' Level or equivalent qualification

*one year of working experience

Advanced Diploma in Business Administration

*Graduates from ICOM Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent qualification

* two years of working experience

Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration

*Graduates from ICOM Advanced Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent qualification

* two years of working experience

Assessment & Award of Diploma

The assessment is a mix of final examination and continuous assessment which may include group projects, case presentations, workshop and course work assignments. The specific assessment mix will be determined by the instructors and the Programme Manager.

The Diploma is awarded by Institute of Corporate Operation and Management . For the award of the diploma, students must:

a. attend at least 80% of the face-to-face lecture sessions;
b. pass the relevant examinations;
c. complete the prescribed continuous assessment and satisfy the requirements.

University of Hull

Since its foundation in 1927 the University of Hull has had a distinguished history of providing quality education and rich life experience to students from around the globe. The University of Hull is consistently among the top 10 UK universities for graduate employability and ranked in the first division by The Times. Advanced Diploma holder can apply for second year of their BBA programme. Postgraduate Diploma holder can apply for their MBA and MSc programmes.

Columbia Southern University

Columbia Southern University was established as an academic institution of higher learning in July of 1993 providing on-line programs from Certificate to Master level. The University's mission is to promote the development and the application of knowledge, the acquisition of problem-solving skills, and the maturation of intellect and character. Diploma & Advanced Diploma holder can obtain a total of 24 credit hours exemption for their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration programme and Postgraduate Diploma holder can obtain 60 credit hours exemption.

The Society of Business Practitioner(SBP)

The Society of Business Practitioners was established in the United Kingdom by, and for the benefit of, a group of highly successful business practitioners. Their objectives was share a common wealth of knowledge, skill and experience, with the aim of furthering and protecting the success of each member of the Society.

The Society's Diploma awards are valuable, internationally recognized business qualifications which attract credits and exemptions from other institutes and educational establishments.
